Nominations open Monday for RA and NUS Delegate elections

Thursday 25-10-2012 - 15:47

As an RA (Residents’ Association), you are responsible for developing a cohesive community within your Hall and representing the views of your fellow residents to the wider student body. Stand as an RA now to enhance your Hall’s university experience.

If you’re interested in standing for a committee position in the forthcoming RA elections, or want to find out more about what the RAs do, visit: guildofstudents.com/elections or email

elections@guild.bham.ac.uk. You can also talk to Student Voice at the Guild or your RA.

Becoming a NUS Delegate gives you a unique chance to attend NUS Annual Conference as an official representative of your Guild of Students. The National Union of Students is the national voice of students all across the United Kingdom. On issues such as tuition fees, when the government or other national organisations want to talk to students, they talk to the NUS!

Only by becoming a NUS Delegate can you be directly involved in deciding the student movement’s national policies and electing the next NUS President and National Executive Committee.

For more information or to download a nominations pack, visit: guildofstudents.com/elections or email: elections@guild.bham.ac.uk

Nominations for both elections open at 10am on Monday 29th October and close at 10am on Friday 9th November.
