“I understand a number of students were left disappointed when they were unable to see the performance by Professor Green at this year’s Freshers’ Ball.

“The Guild has looked into the matter, and in future will revisit how we communicate the room capacity, our judgement of likely demand, and how we manage expectations for events like this.

“We are holding an open consultation on Wednesday 10^th October at 12noon in the Tolkein Room, Guild of Students firstly so that I can apologise in person and secondly, to review the situation and discuss how we might address these concerns for future events.”
