'Community Wardens' Header Image

Community Wardens work out of the Guild of Students with the aim of providing timely advice and guidance to all members of the community on a range of issues including*:

  • Damp and unsafe housing
  • Recycling
  • Waste collections
  • Pest control
  • Landlord queries
  • House hunting
  • Deposit schemes
  • Neighbourhood disputes
  • Antisocial behaviour
  • Safety and security
  • Houses in Multiple Occupation Licensing
  • Gas Safety<

Wardens pro-actively patrol Selly Oak to help create a cleaner & safer Bournbrook area, working in partnership with West Midlands Police, West Midlands Fire Service and Birmingham City Council to help create a cleaner, safer and more pleasant Bournbrook and Selly Oak.
