Guild Council is the democratic voice of students at the University of Birmingham. It meets eight times a year and works to improve the Guild, the University and the wider community.
Made up of students who represent the various University Schools, Halls of Residence and student societies, Guild Council decides the policy of the Guild of Students. As a result, when Guild Council speaks the voice of all 28,000 University of Birmingham students is deemed to have spoken.
The dates for Guild Council meetings taking place in terms 2 and 3 of the 2009/10 academic year are:

4th May 2010
14th June 2010
