 Friends of Palestine

The Friends Palestine Society campaigns for human rights and equality in the Middle East, and an end to the Israel/Palestine conflict. Regular speaker events, film screenings and the showing of documentaries aim to raise student awareness of the crisis.

Howard League For Penal Reform

We aim to promote the aims and beliefs of the Howard League for Penal Reform through interesting speakers events, fundraising events and attending national conferences with our members.  United Nations

  The University of Birmingham United Nations Society is an official branch of the United Nations Youth and Student Association (UNYSA) and as such directly affiliated to the UNA-UK. Our main activities include weekly Model United Nations debates, as well as a wide spectrum of campaigns (Climate Change, Cultural understanding, UNICEF fundraising, asylum seekers’ rights, outreach program into local schools). We invite external speakers on a regular basis and attend national and international conferences.
