Anime and Manga
The group meets weekly to watch new or classic anime, and also lends out anime or manga to members.

Art
The group helps develop and promote an interest in Art. They cater for a range of abilities, beginners have the chance to develop their life drawing skills with the aid of a life drawing tutor, and our various workshops enable a chance to create new interests or enhance skills. Their socials are also extremely varied with trips to galleries such as the Ikon and relaxed pubs visits.

Talking Hands
The society is a sign language group which teaches students basic sign language (BSL) level 1. The course is one year long and involves 60 hours of teaching time. Topic areas include, the alphabet, numbers, colours, the calendar, describing yourself and your family, jobs, directions and many more. At the end of the year students may choose to take an exam which will enable them to gain a CACDP certified qualification in BSL.
