What is the YOUR VIEW Survey?
The Guild of Students wants to hear YOUR VIEW to help us plan for the future and ensure we’re providing the kind of activities, services and support you need.
Who can take part?
We are asking all students at the University of Birmingham to have their say by completing a short online survey, which takes around 4 minutes to complete.
How are the prizes drawn?
All students who complete the YOUR VIEW survey will be picked at random to win a top prize of £500 cash, or one of three runner-up prizes of £100 cash (unless you request otherwise). The prize draw will take place when the survey has closed. Students will be picked at random and contacted by the Guild if they have won.
Last year’s prize draw winner, Ben Holland, used his prize money to pay bills and credit card debt, purchase books for his course and to help fund a trip to Stockholm. Benjamin De Laune, won a runner up prize, which he also used to pay off debt. Ben Said, “The prizes are great and if my feedback can be implemented, that’s a bonus. The survey is important to help the Guild out and they need responses from as many students as possible, so that the results are reliable.”
What’s happens with the findings?
The findings are used to inform the Guild’s strategic development and also operations in its departments and services. Last year’s findings, were developed into key recommendations and an action plan produced to address and respond to student option.
