Could you speak up for students in your School? Want to make sure you stand out from the crowd? If you are interested in supporting others on your course and having your say in what happens within your School then becoming a Rep is for you!
Role Description
This is the minimum that is expected from all Student Reps across the University – although lots of Reps go on to do much more!

So how do I become a Rep?
It is the responsibility of your School or Department to appoint Student Reps. This is usually done by elections, so you will have to nominate yourself in your Departments. You will need to contact your Department office for details of when this will happen by – most elections take place towards the middle or end of October.
If you have any problems finding out about the Reps Scheme within your School, or you have further questions about being a Rep, please email studentreps@guild.bham.ac.uk and we will be happy to help!
