Work experience for postgraduate students

In this interactive workshop you will gain tips to help you find an internship or work experience placement.

The workshop will cover basic information on the benefits of work experience, what opportunities may involve, as well as how to source and apply for them. In addition to considering advertised opportunities, we will also look at the “hidden jobs market” – making speculative enquiries for opportunities which aren't advertised.

The session will also include opportunities to interact with other postgraduate students, to ask them questions and find out more about their experiences.

This event is aimed at postgraduates - both taught and research students.
