Weekly CV Check Appointments for Part Time Jobs

Friendly CV Advisers will be able to give you useful tips on how to edit your CV and/or covering letter which will in turn increase your chances of finding part-time or vacation work during your studies.

If you are applying for a particular role, please feel free to bring the job advertisement/person specification with you as you may find this useful.

This service is for current University of Birmingham students (or their dependants) who would like to sit with a trained CV Adviser to speak about covering letters and/or CV's for part-time or summer vacation work.

Please use Careers Network appointment services for CV checks for graduate jobs, internships, placements, unpaid work experience, volunteering, or academic opportunities.

If you have a CV for part-time work or casual vacation work, and you can’t make a Wednesday, or our time slots are all full, you can also use Careers Network appointment service.
