To kick start your summer and celebrate the end of exams in style, the much awaited festival season is approaching...
ValeFest 2016 is here!
Celebrating our 12th year, with 6 stages of live music and comedy, ValeFest is set to be the biggest event of the UoB calendar.
You can expect to hear a range of music on the Vale including house, disco, acoustic, indie, rock and reggae. Along with live music we are pleased to welcome comedians, theatre and a jam stage. Our full line up will be released in a few weeks so watch this space!
There will be face painting, battle reenactments and debates: a whole host of activities and that’s not even the start of it! Should you get hungry we have the finest selection of caterers in our very own marketplace, including regulars seen at Digbeth Dining Club; there will be plenty of choice along with a barbeque and full bar. If ten hours of live music isn’t enough for you there is an after party in the Duck and Scholar included in the ticket!
Every penny raised from ticket sales will be donated to charity. This year we will be raising money for the Birmingham Children’s Hospital and The Against Malaria Foundation. Over the past decade we have raised over £200,000 for a range of charities: last year we raised £30,000 and we plan to raise even more this year to beat our all time record!
