Guild Awards 2012
The 2011 Guild Awards will be held on Tuesday 22nd March. It will be an evening to celebrate, recognise and reflect on the success of all of the Guild's members and groups including student activists, Societies, Volunteering Projects, Volunteers, Resident's Associations, Guild Councillors, Student Mentors, Community Wardens and Guild of Students Student staff.

The Awards
Nominations for the annual Guild Awards are now open and close on the 10th February.
Taking place on 20th March, the Guild Awards celebrate and recognise the fantastic work of University of Birmingham undergraduate and postgraduate students, including those involved in Residents’ Associations, Volunteering, Guild Council, Student Reps, Student Staff members and Student Groups.
There are 13 award categories in total:
• Outstanding Student Staff (Student Community)
• Outstanding Student Staff (Guild Contribution)
• Outstanding Student Led Volunteering Project
• Outstanding Residents’ Association (Sponsored by Hospitality & Accommodation Services - HAS)
• Outstanding New Student Group
• Most Improved Society (Sponsored by Personal Skills Award - PSA)
• Outstanding Society
• Best Event
• Community Impact (Sponsored by Development & Alumni Office - DARO)
• Outstanding Guild Councillor
• Outstanding Student Representative
• Outstanding Engagement of Hard to Reach Students
• Individual Outstanding Contribution (Sponsored by Academic Services)
