The 2010 Guild Awards will be held on Sunday 21st March. It will be an evening to celebrate, recognise and reflect on the success of all of the Guild's members and groups including student activists, Societies, Volunteering Projects, Volunteers, Resident's Associations, Guild Councillors, Student Mentors, Community Wardens and Guild of Students Student staff.

Tickets
Tickets are now on sale and available from Joes Bar in the Guild of Students. The event will take place in the evening at the University's prestigious Great Hall. Tickets are just £10 and include a meal and entry to an after show party at the Guild. Everyone is welcome and we look forward to seeing you there!  

The Awards
There are 9 different award categories. Some awards are open to individuals, some to groups of students and some to everyone.


Each award description specifies who is eligible to apply for that award. Possible candidates are:

  • Individual students (Guild members) can apply in their capacity as a volunteer, campaigner, society member or student staff member. Officers can apply but only for activities completed outside their remit
  • Guild Societies
  • Liberation Associations
  • Resident’s Associations
  • Guild Volunteering Projects
  • Guild Student Staff
  • Some awards state they are open to ‘Student Groups’. This refers to Guild Societies, Liberation Associations, Guild Volunteering Projects and Resident’s Associations
  • Awards open to ‘All’ include all the above categories
