Payment Terms & Conditions
These terms and conditions shall apply to all transactions conducted through this online payment cart. Read them before you place an order and we also recommend that you print out a copy for your records. Please note that in these terms and conditions "you", "your", "yours" and "yourself" are references to any person making an online payment transaction from the website, and "we", "our" and "ours" refers to BAM Agency Ltd and the online shopping cart bamshop.co.uk
Nothing in these Conditions excludes or limits the liability of bamshop.co.uk for death or personal injury caused by bamshop.co.uk's negligence, or for fraudulent misrepresentation. Subject to the preceding sentence, Condition 11 constitutes the entire financial liability of bamshop.co.uk (including any liability for the acts or omissions of its employees, agents and sub-contractors) to the Buyer in respect of: (i) any breach of these Conditions; and (ii) any representation, statement or negligent act or omission, including negligence arising under, or in connection with, the contract.
On-Line Payments
Please read these terms carefully before using the online payment facility. Using the online payment facility on this website indicates that you accept these terms. If you do not accept these terms do not use this facility. All payments are subject to the following conditions;
Your payment will normally reach the bamshop.co.uk bank account, to which you are making a payment, the following working day.
We cannot accept liability for a payment not reaching our account due to you quoting an incorrect account number or incorrect personal details. Neither can we accept liability if payment is refused or declined by the credit/debit card supplier for any reason.
If the card supplier declines payment, bamshop.co.uk is under no obligation to bring this fact to your attention. You should check with your bank/credit/debit card supplier that payment has been deducted from your account.
The payment will be displayed on your statement as a payment to 'bamshop.co.uk'
All credit/debit card data that you provide during this transaction is not stored on our servers, and you only submit this information when within the secured web-pages of www.sagepay.com, our e-commerce gateway provider, which will only be used for the purpose of recording your payment.
In no event will bamshop.co.uk be liable for any damages whatsoever arising out of the use, inability to use, or the results of use of this site, any websites linked to this site, or the materials or information contained at any or all such sites, whether based on warranty, contract, tort or any other legal theory and whether or not advised of the possibility of such damages.
Refunds, if applicable, will only be made to the debit/credit card used for the original transaction. For refund terms and conditions, please refer to the purchase terms and conditions provided by the issuing website.

This document should be read as a guide for employers using the Student Job Centre. It explains the relationship between the employers, employee and the Student Job Centre.
The placement of an advert with the SU Job Shop shall be deemed acceptance of and agreement to this code of practice.
The SU Job Shop will endeavour to assist employers in locating suitable student employees but reserves the right not to advertise an employer's vacancy for any reason. Member Union Job Shops hold the right not to advertise an employers vacancies and any fee's paid for advertising in said University will be refunded.
Employers must have adequate Employers Liability Insurance and as such the Student Job Centre cannot advertise any vacancy where the place of work is the employers home or a location which is not covered by Employers Liability Insurance.
The employer must make clear the nature of the work offered and specify any necessary skills required, the proposed wages and other terms. If they are able, the employer should also state the number and distribution of hours to be worked and the date the employment will end.
It is the responsibility of the employer to let all candidates know the result of an application as soon as possible and also to inform the Student Job Centre.
The employer should be aware of students' study obligations and should bear these in mind when negotiating hours of work with students.
It is the duty of the employer to meet all statutory legal requirements with regard to students employed via the SU Job Shop. In particular the employer is reminded of the following:
- Payment of the national minimum wage
- Working time directive legislation including holiday entitlement
- Payment of National Insurance contributions & tax
- Adherence to health & safety regulations and provision of adequate insurance
- Adherence to the Children's Act
- Compliance with legislation against discrimination in employment on basis of disability, ethnic origin, gender etc and with good practice in respect of non discrimination on the grounds of age.
The employer shall satisfy themselves as to the suitability of any employee and shall be responsible for taking up any references provided by the employee before engaging the student.
The employer agrees to pay the SU Job Shop for requested recruitment in advance of the vacancy going live into the system
The Student Job Centre reserves the right not to advertise vacancies it considers unsuitable for students.
The SU Job Shop reserves the right to refuse to advertise further vacancies from any company which breaches this code.
The SU Job Shop, BAM Agency Ltd and member Student bodies shall bear no liability for loss, damage or delay howsoever arising in the performance of these services and in particular caused by circumstances beyond its control (of whatsoever kind).
