With Sports Ball 2015 just three weeks away, I am so delighted to announce the shortlisted nominees for the Sports Ball Awards.
Shortlisted for Student Leadership Award are:
Elliot Packham for his incredible involvement with Triathlon Club
Nick Kitchen for his vital contribution to Men’s Basketball
Dani Leith for her inspiring work with Waterpolo
Shortlisted for Victoria Wesley Award are:
Ed Tinwell for his dedication to Squash Club and Premier Squash League at Birmingham
Ian Kafka for his exceptional involvement with Aussie Rules and wider involvement with AFL England
Verity Postlethwaite for her outstanding contribution to Women’s Football and integrating the Sport Policy Centre
Shortlisted for the Club Impact Award are:
Ice Hockey for their brilliant development this year of their Women’s Team
Polo for an amazing achievement raising money through their charity tournament
Aussie Rules for establishing a completely new Women’s Squad within the club
Waterpolo for their very impressive blood donation campaign
Shortlisted for the Development Club of the Year are:
Cricket Women facing challenges they have had a very successful year in all areas of the club
Sailing for an extremely positive year growing the club from beginner level
Football Women for an excellent year both on and off the pitch
