Mayoral Election: Candidate Q+A Sessions!

So, you may have seen in my last blog that there is going to be a Mayor for the West Midlands. I’ve somehow managed to make it so that each candidate is coming HERE TO THE GUILD to talk to us as students! The candidates are as follows:

Sion Simon – Labour

James Burn – Green

Andy Street – Conservative

Beverley Nielson – Liberal Democrats

They will each be coming to do a one hour long Q&A session this term!

The Facebook events for each of the candidate’s sessions are here:

Sion Simon - https://www.facebook.com/events/194441524355918/

James Burn - https://www.facebook.com/events/968327019936112/

Andy Street - https://www.facebook.com/events/939512072851233/

Beverley Nielson - https://www.facebook.com/events/668243606716076/

Come along to one or all of them and hear about what each candidate would do for Students and for Birmingham if they were elected!

It’s a big big job so we’ve gotta make sure they’re the right candidate for it!

If you’ve not registered to vote yet then a) why not and b) do it here!

Love Ellie x
