According to Shelter, almost 250,000 people in England currently have nowhere to live. Sleeping on the ground is extremely uncomfortable, painful, and can lead to serious injury. On the final day of Student Volunteer week, we are providing a unique opportunity to make beds from discarded packaging to give somewhere for the homeless people of Birmingham to sleep that is stable, dry and comfortable. This is a truly unique and worthwhile cause that will help to improve the conditions of some of the most vulnerable members of our society today. Come along and help us to help others!
