Give Volunteering a Go - Paper Cranes

Wednesday 10 January 2018

noon - 4pm

Harvey Milk Room, Guild of Students

Tickets

Start off term 2 by doing something good! Come along to the Harvey Milk room between 12 and 4pm to make origami cranes for cancer patients.

Everyone is welcome! Stay for five minutes or the whole time.

Cranes for Cancer is a charitable organisation which sends cranes to people in need.

An ancient Japenses legend promises that anyone who folds a thousand origami cranes will be granted a wish by the gods. Some stories believe you are granted happiness and eternal good luck, instead of just one wish, such as long life or recovery from illness or injury. This makes them popular gifts for special friends and family.
