The Careers Network innovative ‘Top Tip’ sessions delivered by their Student Peer Presenter Team are designed to give you the confidence and tools to make your way successfully through the application and selection process.

To be invited to an assessment centre means the employer already believes you have the potential to fulfil the role. Assessment centres offer recruiters the opportunity to observe the way you operate and interact with others, and provide more information about your skills and abilities than an interview alone. They also test specific work-based activities to see how a candidate handles them, i.e. report writing, group exercises, presentations.

Come along to this 30 minute session to learn how to succeed at an assessment centre.

Careers Network try to make all their events accessible; however they are aware that this is not always the case. If you have additional requirements or concerns about accessing a workshop, please click here to advise them and a member of Careers Network will get back to you as soon as possible.
