Come out and join your Community Wardens for a litter pick to tackle rubbish left on the streets of Selly. We want students, residents and everyone else who cares about the local area to come together to make the area a little cleaner, a little greener, and a whole lot nicer.
You may think that anything to do with litter can’t be enjoyable, but a litter pick can be a fun and rewarding way of helping your community. It’s a nice time spent in the outdoors chatting to other pickers and making new friends who share the same interests. Not to mention some great work experience for your CV. Plus you get the added bonus of seeing the results on your streets.
Meet us in reception at the Guild of Students to get kitted out, we’ll be out picking for around an hour or so then return to the Guild after for refreshments.
