Housemate finder is a relaxed and friendly way to meet like-minded people, also looking to meet others to live with next academic year.
Each Housemate finder event will be facilitated to help you easily get to know others. Events will host 20 students who are looking to meet people to rent with next year. Whether you're attending to look for one extra person to complete an existing house, or as an individual to meet other individuals - all are welcome.
The event will be virtual and will include games and ice breakers so don’t feel nervous about not knowing anyone as everyone will be in the same boat!
Whilst we look forward to helping you look for housemates, this is only the beginning for some and we continue to encourage you not to rush, take your time to get to know people and seek out the right property for you.
Please note:
- As there is a max of 20 people per event, if you are an existing house looking for 1-2 other people please nominate one person to attend the event.
- You can attend as many housemate finders as you wish, so don’t worry if you don’t meet anyone first time around!
- To sign up please book a free ticket through the website and the zoom link will be emailed out to you.
- If you book a place please ensure you attend or contact us ahead of the event date if you're no longer available. You'll be taking the place of another student and these events rely on attendance to be successful.
When are we running this event?
Housemate finder will be repeated, so don’t worry if you don’t get a place on these first dates. We are conscious that this is usually a popular event and we will try and accommodate timings of the events to help as many students as possible attend.
