Come and explore some great cafés in Brum and get to know the City Centre better with Sober Socials! On Saturday the 2nd of October, we will be running a café crawl in the Birmingham City Centre. Due to the capacity of certain venues, this will be a free ticketed event, with tickets being released via EventBrite on Thursday 30th of Spetember at 7pm.
There are five cafe venues on our crawl; 200º Coffee, Grand Central Kitchen, Faculty Coffee, Second Cup Coffee and Yorks.
We are meeting up at New Street Station at 10:50am and then getting ready to leave for the crawl at 11am.
If you are getting the train, some committee members will also be getting the train from Selly Oak - the plan is to get the 10:31 train, so arrive at least by 10:25 to make it! This means that committee will be on the 10:33 at University, and the 10:37 at Five Ways - please make sure to get there five minutes early as this is when the train should leave!
If you are getting the bus; the 61 and the 63 go from Selly Oak and South of University to New Street, the X22 goes to New Street from Harborne (stopping at University Station, North Gate and the Vale), and the X21 goes to New Street from near the big Sainsbury's (stopping stopping at University Station, North Gate and the Vale). Don't forget you can use your student ID to pay only a £1 for your bus ticket each way!
To reduce the spread of COVID, we require all attendees to show evidence of a negative lateral flow test taken no more than 48 hours before the event. Please show a committee member upon entry to the event, or send us the evidence via Discord.
