Once upon a time, in a land far far away, Queen Eleanor and King Stefan gave birth to a baby princess, Aurora. At the celebration of her birth, Aurora was placed under an evil curse by dark fairy Maleficent, that before midnight on her 16th birthday, she would prick her finger on a needle and fall into an eternal sleep that only true love’s kiss could wake her from. On the day of her 16th Birthday, Maleficent’s evil henchman poses as the needle and strikes poor Aurora, sending her into her slumber. Will Aurora ever get her happy ending?
This production is an adaptation of the well-loved Fairy Tale, including many parts of the original that are classic, as well as some that may be rather surprising! Look out for Disney Princess cameos, a leather boot flavoured cake and a very large, peculiar looking needle with a face.
