Fr Sean Gough - Prosecuted for Prayer

Thursday 08 June 2023

7pm - 9pm

Guild of Students Debating Hall

Tickets

Fr Sean was recently with charged with violating a Public Space Protection Order after praying silently for free speech within the "buffer zone" around the BPAS clinic on Station Road, Kings Norton. He was formally acquitted of all charges in February.

He'll be speaking about his pro-life activism, as well as the dangers of criminalising freedom of speech, thought and prayer within so-called "buffer zones" around abortion clinics. There will be time for questions following the talk and we'll be heading to Joe's Bar afterwards.

Deb Hall is located above Guild Reception and access to the event will be via the doors opposite the stairs coming up from reception. Please message us if you are having trouble finding the event.
