Hi guys!
This Sunday we’re heading to the Queen Elizabeth (QE) Hospital right next door to uni. In their grounds they have a garden area and nature walk where we’ll be working. Glenn from The Conservation Volunteers will look after us and we’ll be putting the finishing touches to some bird boxes and then installing them around the site, as well as clearing some areas of their compound.
We’ll meet at 9:40am at Mermaids Square at the Guild, for a 10am start at the QE. If anyone needs to borrow wellies we have plenty to lend out on the day, but please be sure to arrive in plenty of time to get kitted out.
Please wear warm clothing and suitable footwear and bring along a packed lunch. We’re planning to finish at 2pm and then will head back to uni.
