GMTG is proud to present our Term 2 Main Show, 'Our House: The Madness Musical'!
On the evening of his sixteenth birthday, in an attempt to impress his girlfriend Sarah, Joe Casey breaks into a building development site on Casey Street. However, when the police suddenly arrive, Joe must choose between running away or facing the consequences of his actions…
From here the show follows two parallel versions of Joe’s life based on the choice he makes that night. One path leads to total social exclusion and a criminal record, but means he is able to be with the woman he loves. The other leads to a successful career, but subsequent underhand business maneuvers will isolate him from everyone he holds dear.
Along the way, this fantastic story is accompanied by an amazing musical score based on the music of Madness, including the songs ‘Our House’, ‘House of Fun’, ‘Baggy Trousers’, ‘It Must be Love’, ‘Night Boat to Cairo’ and many more…!
