To celebrate the end of LGBTQ History Month 2018, University of Birmingham's LGBTQ Association is proud to invite you to our 'gay prom' – "Evening of Elegance".
The Evening of Elegance is our yearly LGBTQ ball and one of our biggest events of the year, and as it's the third time we're running it, it should be better than ever!
The event is open to all members of the association and their friends, and as the name suggests, the theme is all things elegant so break out your glad rags and glitter. There is absolutely no expectation to conform, so please dress in whatever you feel meets the theme, the most important thing is that you have a good time!
If you don't feel comfortable walking around selly oak in your 'elegant' clothes, there are toilets directly next to the Underground which should be available to get changed in (and we're working on getting a separate changing room, or at very least access to the gender neutral toilets upstairs in the Guild).
We are also very proud to host our very own band, photographer and an assortment of fabulous things!
Doors open at 7:30PM.
Tickets are £5 and can be bought at coffee from the 7th February, online or message a committee member to reserve a ticket and pay on the door!
