Wednesday 18 October 2017
8pm - 10pm
Debating Hall (First Floor, Guild of Students)
Join us for our second tasting of the semester where we will be tasting 6 carefully selected wines to explore the theme of ‘Cheap vs. Expensive’. We will taste 3 pairs of wine as a blind tasting – meaning details about the wines aren’t revealed until the pair have been tasted, enabling everyone to guess which wine was cheap and which was expensive!
Emphasising the fact that there is no need for snobbery in wine tasting, we will be disproving the concept that cheap wines are any ‘worse’ than more expensive wines! As per usual, nibbles will be served throughout the evening to compliment the selection of wines offered.
The tasting will be £5 for members and £6.50 for non-members, to be paid upon arrival to the event. Please sign up here to register your attendance. As always, please email us (firstname.lastname@example.org) ASAP if you become aware that you can no longer attend.
We look forward to seeing you!
