We are looking for a part time recruitment assistant to support the recruitment of young people onto our National Citizen Service programmes.
The role involves following up expressions of interest in the NCS programme by telephone and taking the young people through the sign up process. 
The recruitment support team are a focal point of contact for the UFA’s NCS programme; all work will be over the telephone talking to young people/parent’s/guardians about the programme. Consequently, you will need good communication skills with a confident, energetic, professional and customer focused telephone manner.
As a recruitment assistant you will be responsible for:
• Following up expression of interest in the NCS programme
• Taking young people through sign up/payment process
• Ensuring all calls are dealt with in a professional and timely manner. 
• Providing a point of contact for young people and parents/guardians
• Providing information about the NCS programme to young people and their parents/guardians
• Inputting and collating data
• Keeping database up to date
 
Requirements:
• Confident and energetic telephone skills, who are at ease talking to people, particularly young people age 15-17.
• Ability to work in a team as well as on own initiative 
• Good IT skills is essential to record data accurately
• Excellent verbal communication skills
• Flexible in your approach to work and changing priorities.
