If you prefer to work behind the scenes and enjoy working as part of a busy team, then we have the opportunities for you to join our kitchen team at Barclaycard Arena.
We would be able to offer you flexible working hours and varied shifts over 7 days a week during our busy trading periods, with a starting salary of £7.20 per hour.
You will be expected to work under pressure with a highly motivated team and be available for work during our busy season.
You will be required to ensure that all crockery, cutlery and equipment is cleaned, food stock is delivered to areas on time. On occasions, you will be required to assist with the delivery and set up of functions, in accordance with both Health and Safety and Hygiene regulations. You will undertake a number of cleaning tasks, ensuring that our backs of house and cleaning areas are clean and meet standards in accordance with Food Hygiene and Health and Safety regulations.
This role requires you to understand both verbal and written communications, hold a Level 2 (basic) Health and Safety qualification, and the CIEH Level 2 (basic) in Food Safety. Experience in Manuel Handling and COSHH is preferable along with previous kitchen experience however it is not essential. Training in all aspects can be provided for the right candidate.
Due to the nature of this role, you must be able to walk a considerable distance and stand for prolonged periods of time. The work is hands-on and of a physical nature, you may be asked to do some heavy lifting.
