Magical Maths is a fun after school maths club, and we are looking for enthusiastic, outgoing individuals who are passionate about working with Primary School children to join our Staffordshire team.
Applicants need to be available to cover short maths sessions, lasting between 60 and 80 minutes, at local primary schools for a 6-week block during term time. We have various days available to suit your schedule.
Pay is between £15 and £20 a session and everything you need to deliver the sessions will be provided. This is a great way to gain extra income or to get work experience within the school setting and full training is be given prior to you starting within a school. We aim to match you to local schools that are easy to travel to. You will work at a ratio of 1 member of staff to every 12 children, and usually work as part of a team to run the clubs, the role is well supported and lots of fun.
Additional information for candidates:
• DBS (Disclosure & Barring Service, formerly Criminal Records Bureau) certificate is essential. This will be self-funded, but we can arrange for you to get one.
• You must be willing to travel to schools around Staffordshire.
• Access to a car is preferable.
• Available between 2:30 and 4:30pm
• Ideally, you’ll be able to work 2 afternoons a week.
• You must reliable, enthusiastic and punctual.
