Waiting/ bar staff (The Green Room) [GUI1516GR/KS]

The Green Room Café is the closest café-bar and restaurant to the Birmingham Hippodrome Theatre, home to Birmingham Royal Ballet, the Patrick Centre, the Welsh National Opera and the Dance exchange. Being practically on the doorstep of Birmingham’s top theatre, The Green Room is the perfect place to come and grab a pre-theatre meal or relax with some Interval or post-theatre drinks.

Must be available to work Saturdays and must be available to work during the Xmas and New Year period - you'll finish at 6pm on Christmas Eve and re-open on Boxing Day, and finish at 6pm on New Year's Eve and re-open on 02 January.

No late finishes

Suitable candidates will have the following:

• be passionate about delivering the highest standard of customer service
• must be energetic and engaging with customers
• excellent verbal communication and standard of English
• ability to work under pressure in an often fast-paced environment
• ability to remain positive whatever situations arise
• hard working and thorough in carrying out tasks
• able to use initiative and be self-motivated during quiet periods
• previous experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential

Duties:

• Coffee making
• Taking orders
• Serving drinks and food
• General cleaning
• Follow procedures & checklists
