Changes to Student Conduct Regulations

For the last three years, your Guild Officer teams have lobbied the University for changes to the Student Conduct Regulations.  These changes have been as a result of conversations between your Officer teams and the University, following our ‘Not On’ campaign, highlighting that sexual assault and misconduct by students will not be tolerated, wherever it happens. It also mirrors what other Russell Group universities do, as well as being reflected in a recent report by the Office for Students regarding sexual harassment and misconduct in higher education.

Your Officer team is extremely pleased with the changes that have been made and we feel it shows our commitment to working with the University to ensure all our students have the very best student experience here at Birmingham.
