Officer Elections are back and the search is on. We’re looking for our next set of Officers to lead the Guild in the year ahead. Could it be you? Nominations are now open. If you would like to campaign for any position, you have until the 26th January to put your name forward.

We’ll be electing a new look Officer Team for the 2018-19 year, including a Full-Time International Officer for the first time ever. This Officer will be responsible for representing all international students at Birmingham, as well as students at our international campuses and those taking a year abroad. They’ll join the President, Activities and Employability Officer, Welfare and Community Officer, Education Officer, Postgraduate Officer and Sports Officer to complete the new Officer Team.

We’ll also be electing 9 Part-Time Officers to represent and support all students at the University of Birmingham. These are: Anti-Racism; Anti-Fascism Officer, Commuter Students’ Officer, Disabled Students’ Officer, Ethnic Minority Students’ Officer, Ethical and Environmental Officer, Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Trans and Queer Students’ Officer, Mature Students’ Officer, Trans Students’ Officer and Women’s Officer.

If any of these sound right up your street and you think you could help us make sure every student gets the best from Birmingham, then throw your name in the ring now! If this doesn't sound like you, but you know someone who’d be great, you can recommend your mate.
