Here at the Guild we have some exciting projects going on over summer, with certain spaces undergoing a well-deserved makeover!
That’s right; work is currently underway to give our beloved Deb Hall, Joe’s Bar and Mermaid Square a bit of a spruce up, ready for September. We’re really excited as Deb Hall is being fitted out with a brand new stage, lighting and décor, making the space even better for YOU!
We just wanted to let you know that as there’s a lot of work to be done, there will likely be some noise and disruption at the Guild whilst the work is being completed. Here’s a few things for you to be aware of…
Access
Want to visit the Guild over summer? Great – you can access the building through the front entrance and also via Mermaid Square (the Reception and Spar entrances). Although, you may find at times certain routes may be restricted and re-routed for short periods.
Parking
There’ll also be less car parking space in the front car park, as contractors will be accessing the building from this entrance.
Fire Evacuation
Our fire evacuation process has been updated, so please speak to a member of Guild staff if you have any questions or enquiries about fire evacuation.
We can’t wait for you to see and use these spaces come September. So, make sure you pay us a visit!
