In my manifesto I promised you that, if elected, I would invite the Vice Chancellor to attend a Question Time style event to answer your questions about the issues that matter most to students at University of Birmingham. I believe it is incredibly important for the person at the top to meet face-to-face with the students at their University. That’s why I’m extremely pleased to announce details of ‘Vice Chancellors Question Time.’
On Thursday 25th January, 5-7pm, we invite you to bring your burning questions to the most senior figure at the University, Professor Sir David Eastwood. We’ll be having an exciting, potentially explosive and certainly thought-provoking discussion on tuition fees and senior staff pay, the future of our campus, University of Birmingham as a global university and on welfare and value for money.
Whether it’s a concern about your course, the University’s mental health and counselling services, what you get for your £9000 or your lecture theatres and study spaces, now is your chance to put your questions to University’s leadership.
So, please join us for the first Vice Chancellors Question Time in many years to get to the heart of the issues you care about most.
