You’ve just come back from a long Christmas break, so we’re stripping it back to basics and reminding you of all the fantastic ways that you can get involved, have fun and get some support here at the Guild.

What’s On:

Refreshers Fest

We have so many exciting events and campaigns coming up this month, and we’ll be kicking off with your Back to Brum celebrations!

Experience Freshers all over again with Refreshers Fest. Featuring fantastic club nights at the Guild and across Birmingham, this is the only way to start term 2!

We’ll also be inviting lots of student brands to the Guild to welcome you Back to Brum in style! This includes Domino’s who’ll be offering £1 pizzas, as well as returning poet Beth Calverley, who’ll be writing personalised poems.

Haven’t joined a student group yet? Don’t worry, you can join a group at any point in the year. So whether you’ve just started, have been here a term or 3 years – it’s never too late to get involved.

Support when you need it

Coming back to University is really exciting, but may also be challenging at times. We offer academic and wellbeing support on everything from managing workload, to homesickness and looking after your mental health. The Selly Express is back in town!

That’s right - your trusty evening shuttle bus service has returned, to offer you safe travel between campus and Selly Oak. You don’t need a ticket, just present your student ID and hop on board the Selly Express!
