Wellbeing Week - 21st - 25th January 2019

This week is Wellbeing Week (21st -25th January 2019) where we’re focusing on the theme of mental health and signposting the wellbeing services available to all students here at the Guild and the University. This week we’ll be working together to start the conversation on the stigma around mental health and exploring key themes such as depression and stress, to show you where to go if you need support. 

Our key message this week is: ‘Don’t hide, confide’ as we want to encourage all students, whether you’re Undergrads, Postgrads or International students to feel confident to speak up if you feel you need extra support.

We have some key events this week, so here’s what to look out for:

Monday 21st January is Blue Monday, statistically the saddest day of the year - but let’s change that. Pop over to our ‘Brew Monday’ stand in Guild reception between 10am-12pm for a FREE hot drink and a chat.

There'll also be a Mental Health drop in at the main library on campus from 10am-12pm on Monday.

You'll have the chance to speak to your Guild Officers at our Wellbeing Stand at Refresher’s Fair on Tuesday, as they’ll be only too happy to help.
