Organised approximately once every two months. Socials are held either at the Guild of Students or at the CDOB Brazilian Cultural Centre in Birmingham city centre. Socials are an opportunity to meet other members and people that are interested in Capoeira. Activities include projection of films / documentaries related to the world of Capoeira, samba parties, etc..

Workshops are organised approximately once every four months. Workshops are held at the CDOB Brazilian Cultural Centre in Birmingham city centre. Workshops are opportunities to spend more time training and playing Capoeira with other members of our Society as well as with other capoeiristas coming from different groups and often from abroad. Activities range from Capoeira to playing music (e.g., singing and learning to play instruments) to dancing (e.g., samba -- see Previous Samba Workshop on Youtube).
