SANDAM (formerly known as DAMSA) - Students' Association for Neurodivergence, Disability and Mental Health is a free-to-join liberation association here to provide representation and support for all students who self-identify as disabled. We aim to provide a safe and supportive network with socials and events, resources to help you manage your time at Birmingham, and act as a point of contact if you need any help!
SANDAM also campaigns to raise awareness of disability rights and accessibility around campus and in the local community, working with the Guild and the university to break down the stigma surrounding disability and create a much more inclusive environment for all students!
Please get in contact with us via email/facebook - we look forward to hearing from you!
