Doctor Who

We're the University of Birmingham Doctor Who Society, or DocSoc for short.

DocSoc is a society where you can express your love for all things Doctor Who (both classic and new) as well as its various spin-off shows including Torchwood, The Sarah Jane Adventures and Class.

We run events every Tuesday evening (during term time), ranging from watching episodes of both the new and classic series, arts & craft sessions, quizzes, pizza nights, pub nights and more.

Additionally, every year we run a trip to Cardiff visiting the Doctor Who Experience as well as many fiming locations around the bay.

We welcome every kind of member, from those who've only seen a few episodes, to those who've seen every episode that still exists. We're also happy to new members and event ideas at any time of the year!

For more information, and to keep track of our events, join our Facebook Group.

If you have any questions, email us at or join the Facebook group where you can find and contact any of the committee.

To ensure that you get what you need from us, when you need it, we have created a set of promises which we will always aim to deliver.
