Willkommen – We are the UoB German Society, one of the Guild's oldest!

If you’re an English speaker who want to practice your German, or native speaker on your Year Abroad, we have something for you. Throughout the year, we’ll be running lots of varied events, such as bar crawls, film nights, Kaffee und Kuchen, trips to Oktoberfest and the Christmas Markets as well as our trademark Stammtische – where we get together at a pub, drink, and practice German!

We welcome students of any degree, not just German, and people of all language levels.
