Monday Night Club is a social club for adults with a range of learning difficulties. We meet in St. Francis Hall (in the Chaplaincy) every Monday during term time from 7 til 9pm.
Our aim as volunteers is to provide a relaxed and social environment for our members who are from the wider Birmingham community. Our weekly activities include arts and crafts, bingo, themed parties (for example, for Christmas, Valentine's Day and Easter), workshops and/or demonstrations by other Guild societies, visits from specially trained dogs (Pets As Therapy), trips to the bowling alley, and the ever popular termly trip to Mcdonald’s!
Monday Night Club is a really great way to meet new people and it is fun, as well as rewarding. In addition to meeting on a Monday night, there are many social events during the year for our volunteers including dinners, drinks and nights out.
