Student Minds

Student Minds is a UK Mental Health Charity that aims to reduce the stigma surrounding mental health, in addition to raising awareness and fundraising for this cause. With this society being established in February 2016, The University of Birmingham has recently joining approximately 30 other UK universities in supporting this cause, and the fight against mental health stigma.

What does the society do?

  • Participate in both internal and charity-wide campaigns to tackle the stigma associated with mental health.
  • Hold fundraising events to raise money for the Student Minds Charity (Charity Number: 1142783).
  • Hold events/meetings to raise awareness of mental health issues on campus.
