Wine Society is an opportunity for students who enjoy wine to socialise together and maybe learn a bit too. We offer members the chance to taste some fantastic wines, together with practical advice on wine-related topics such as ‘how to taste wine’, ‘how to describe wine’, and ‘how to pair wine with food’. In addition, we explore the historical, cultural, biological and geographical elements of wine and winemaking. But mainly we're just here to enjoy some awesome wines! No previous knowledge/experience is ever assumed or required.

We aim to make our tastings fun and enjoyable, none of us are 'wine snobs' and we cater for people that know very little to those that know much about wine. Come along to learn more about wine or simply to enjoy great wines at a reasonable price.

You don't have to be a member to join in with most of our events (although tastings are significantly cheaper for members); feel free to come along and try it out! Just send us an email or post it on the facebook page to let us know you are coming.

To ensure that you get what you need from us, when you need it, we have created a set of promises which we will always aim to deliver.
