Go Green Week

Would you like to save the planet? Over the past 100 years humans have had a hugely detrimental impact on the world around us. Think it’s time we made a change?

Go Green Week is a national week of action to help raise awareness of environmental issues and to promote more sustainable lifestyles. At the Guild we want to offer a range of activities, events and experiences to support this.

Past Go Green Weeks have included things such as:

  • An LED light bulb give away
  • Vegan dietician seminars
  • Free Vegan food
  • Environmental micro-volunteering
  • 24 hour cyclathon
  • And much more…

We want students to get involved in the running of activities for Go Green Week so it gets bigger every year!

If you have any ideas of projects or events you’d want to do then we can help. We can help you get funding and organise your event for more information please contact Campaigns@guild.bham.ac.uk
