Community Wardens help out at Selly Speed Watch

On Wednesday 27th January, our lovely Community Wardens team were out and about in Selly Oak supporting West Midlands Police with their community Speed Watch!

Students in Selly had let the police know that they were concerned about the number of speeding vehicles on the roads in their area. To help encourage drivers to watch their speed on the roads, our wardens supported the Speed Watch - which will see speeding drivers receive letters through their door about staying below the limit.

In just two hours, Wardens spotted over 54 cars over the limit around Dawlish, Hubert and Heely Roads - the fastest car was going at over double the legal limit!
