Give It A GoFAQs

The Give It A Go activities provide you with the opportunity to try out new hobbies, learn new skills, and take part in volunteering initiatives. Events are hosted by student groups or the Student Activities Team. Alongside being great fun, many of these activities give you the chance to see what societies you may like to join.

This page shows all of the activities under the Give It A Go scheme. Here you can find workshops, trips, craft sessions, volunteering opportunities, and more! We’re adding new events all of the time, so checking for new content.

Lots of activities will be drop-ins, meaning you can come along with no booking necessary. For some events like trips away from Birmingham may need you to book. If you like the sound of an activity, click on the event to read more about how to get involved.

We want to hear from you! If you have a great idea for an event that you’d love to see, or an activity you’d love to try out, please let us know by filling out our suggestions box! (Don’t forget to login first)
