We have a huge variety of daytime events for you to enjoy this Welcome Week which will be a particularly great option for commuters and part-time students travelling in for the day.

Fairs At Welcome

Our Welcome and Societies Fairs are spread across multiple days, so we'd encourage you to come along to each day for the chance to meet different brands and get to know the different student groups in attendance.

Last year over 8000 students came along to Welcome Fair, so make sure you join us this year at the Guild for the chance to meet fantastic, popular brands, enjoy lots of discounts and student offers, AND get some free gifts!

Joining a Society is one of the best parts of student life, so you must visit our Societies Fairs to meet various student groups, from performance to cultural groups, and see which ones you'd like to join.

Welcome Daytime Events

If you’re a first year looking to buy your OFFICIAL Welcome event tickets and are having problems logging in with your University details, you’ll first need to create a Guest account on the Guild website.

How?

  1. Visit www.guildofstudents.com  and press ‘login’
  2. Click ‘Create A Guest Account’
  3. Fill in the form to register. When asked, set your date of birth to today.
  4. Click register

You’ll then be able to purchase your tickets at www.guildofstudents.com/welcome

If you’re a returning student and receive an error when logging into your University account, you’ll just need to re-register your course details with the University. You can still create a guest account to purchase tickets right away using the steps above!
