I would like to apply for the post of Part Time Officers - International Students' Officer. I am currently studying for my MSc International Accounting and Finance at the Birmingham Business School. Coming from China, I am a self-motivated and enthusiastic person. I love to help others that give me a lot of pleasure.
I have a range of experience in the guild of my undergraduate university (Beijing Jiaotong university). In my undergraduate, I took responsibility for organizing student event such as Encyclopedia competition. I also took on a leading role for the hiking and camping society at my undergraduate, organizing a number of camping event which include tasks like calling for member, finding and contact driver and communicating with my team. I enjoy looking for ways to make improvements to processes and teams and this has motivated me to be an officer in postgraduate.
As we all know, the biggest part of international student is Chinese student that I am. That means a lot of international student issue may come from the student who express and understand things more accurately in mandarin which I am good at. I will try my best to be a good officer.
