Drive a train at the Chasewater Railway!
Transport to/from the Railway (by minibus/car) is included in the ticket price. There are two ticket options available:
- Driving ticket (£15) - drive a Ruston diesel locomotive along the length of the Railway; you will also have the opportunity to act as the guard. This is only available to RailSoc members
- Passenger ticket (£5) - available to anyone, you can come along for a day out riding on the train. This covers your transport costs
If you make your own way to the railway (and you're merely a passenger), you don't need to purchase a passenger ticket.
A hi vis vest and sturdy footwear is essential - steel toe boots preferred if you have them. You can buy a RailSoc hi vis if you don't already have one
